Do What You Love

Lost fifty bucks
at the casino
in five minutes.
Fifty more
in my pocket.
Think I’ll save it.
Well, save it
until tonight.
Then I’ll use it
to buy drinks.
And gamble.
And buy
more drinks.
I feel like I do
the same shit
all the time.
I guess I do.
Oh well.
At least I do
what I love.

  1. 50$ You are like, rich. You could pay a monthly bills for everything with that much money and have a change for a beer. πŸ˜€ Tourists here can go for a week with that much money spending it on the food and booze. πŸ˜€ You know what they say about people that suck at gambling? They say those people have more luck in love. There could be some exceptions to the rule, I guess, because I suck at both. πŸ˜€

  2. I would
    bust on
    you for
    being
    pretentiously
    trendy
    the ASCII
    art formatting
    and all
    of tangibly
    deep prose
    akin in ways
    to Hemingway’s
    iceberg turned
    totempole
    BUTT my
    big BUTT
    Is no big deal
    do it
    anyway you
    want
    even if
    I think it’s
    stupid.
If you question the shit you’re doing, the shit in question needs to change. The depth of your love for the shit being questioned is no deeper than a thirsty man’s piss puddle in the Mojave. And you’d still have a Ben instead of a Uli in your pocket. Turn left next time!

  3. You should love what you do, and if you do it well, then that’s a big bonus. Let’s face it, not everyone can do everything well, so when you find your special talent, then I say, “go for it!” Enjoy the rest of your weekend. ~ Mia
