Sappy

I want to write something sappy
for her,
but I’m afraid that it will scare
her away.
Unless maybe
she thinks that it’s romantic
and charming
and sweet
and funny
and beautiful.
Probably not though.

  1. I once wrote something sappy and illicit to a woman, then stayed away for a long time, thinking I shouldn’t have done it. When I did see her again, she gave a secret smile. If you have feelings for someone, you gotta tell them. It feels better to know it’s out there.

  2. Donโ€™t believe them Lou. Honesty is NOT the best policy. Make everything up, then you can take comfort in knowing that you werenโ€™t really serious when everything goes horribly wrong. The sappier the better in my experience.
