The Club

“What are you
“Doing tonight,
“Babe?”

I wait for
A text
Back.

Then!
My phone
Lights up.
She responds.
And it says,
“Im going to
“A club.”

I just look
At the
Words.

“I’m going to
“A club.”

Then!
My thumbs
Start firing like
Tap,
Tap,
Taptaptap!
And I’m really
Giving it to her,
Calling her a
“Slut,”and a
“Whore,” and a
“Dumb, dirty bitch who is desperate to get some cock between her dumb, dirty cunt lips.”

And then I
Erase all of it.
Tap
Tap
Tap,
Goes my thumb
On the ‘backspace’ button.
And, instead,
I respond:
“Again?”

I wait for
A text
Back.

“Yeah again,”
She says,
“Why?”

And i don’t
Wait
One
Beat
Before im laying into her again.
Calling her a
“Slut,”and a
“Whore,” and a
“Dumb, dirty bitch who is desperate to get some cock between her dumb, dirty cunt lips.”

But then I
Erase all of it…
Again.
And I text back:
“Because
“I love you,
“Babe.”

I wait for
A text
Back.

But nothing comes.

So I start
Tap
Tap
Tapping
Again:
“But
“I hate it
“When I know
“Other guys
“Are dancing
“On you,
“And getting boners
“On your ass,
“And your shoving
“Your ass back into
“Their boners;
“Whether you think of it as
“‘Just dancing ‘
“Or not.”

“But it
“Is
“Just dancing,”
She replies
Right away.
“And
“I love you,
“Too.”

“But i still
“Don’t like it,”
I say
Right back.

And then
I wait for
A text
Back.

Then!
My phone
Lights up.
She responds.
And all it says
Is, “ok. ”

“Ok?” I type back.

“Ok, ” is all i get,
Again.

“So are you
“Still gonna go
“To the club?”
I ask.

Nothing.

Then!

I just look
At the
Word.

“Yes.”
